Would You Rather Book Tag!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend so far. I figured since I’ve just revamped my old blog and wiped out all of my previous posts I would do a little book tag so we can get more acquainted. What better way to get to know each other than by talking about bookish habits. We all have them, some better than others. I’m just going to jump right into the questions, but feel free to post your responses in the comments or do this survey on your own blog!
1. Rather read only a series or stand-alone books?
At this point I’m going to go with stand-alone. I’m currently in the middle of so many series that it makes my head spin at times, so stand-alones are SO refreshing to read. However, if I can marathon a series, like I’m currently doing with Shatter Me, I am also one very happy gal.
2. Rather read a book whose main character is male or female?
Female. I think because I am one it’s easier for me to connect with them, as silly as that is to say. Books with dual POV’s that include male and female are also super fun, but I usually jump towards any book with a female MC for fear of not connecting with a male.
3. Rather shop only at Barnes & Noble (or other actual bookstore) or Amazon?
BARNES AND NOBLE.
Is that weird?
4. Rather all books become movies or tv shows?
Movies for sure.
It’s better to just let me down in one shot vs. dragging something out for years. More often than not nothing compares to the books.
5. Rather read 5 pages per day or read 5 books per week?
UMMM 5 books per week please!
Who wants to go to work for me so I can make this happen?!
6. Rather be a professional book reviewer or an author?
REVIEWER.
Could you imagine me as a author? First of all, I’m sure you’ve probably found about 700 grammatical errors in here so far. It’s not that I’m bad at writing, I just hate being so prim and proper when I write. I usually write my reviews as if I were talking to someone, so could you imagine me trying to write a book? No thanks lol, I’ll stick to creating stories in my head.
7. Rather only read the same 20 books over and over or get to read a new book every 6 months?
I am wheezing just thinking about all the books I would not be able to read if I could only read a new book every six months BUT I am going to have to go with the option. I love new stories and I don’t really like re-reading books. I only re-read my favorite parts.
8. Rather be a librarian or own a book store?
As much as I’ve always wanted to work in a library I’m going to go with own a book store because:
I have like 10 favorite genres sooooo that’s a little hard to narrow it down to only one, and I don’t have one specific favorite author either lolol. I could never choose, I’m super indecisive in life, LET ME LIVE. 10. Rather only read physical books or eBooks?
PHYSICAL BOOK!
Now what are some of your best/worst bookish habits?

I prefer stand-alones too! Series can be such a commitment sometimes. Great tag! I enjoyed reading your answers and learning a little more about you!

Thank you! There’s just something about knowing your going to get all the answers in one book that is SO satisfying to me! Plus I hate having to wait a year in-between books when they end on cliffhangers 😅

I hate that wait too!

My old library actually had a coffee section, though it was a make your own Keurig deal. Anyway best of success with the blog reboot.

this is really fun! i prefer stand alone too, series scared me because of how time consuming it is! i would love to be a reviewer and own a bookshop too because imagine reading as a job! i prefer read from male pov for some reason though, it feels nice to be in their head 😀

Thank you! Reading and reviewing as a job would be my dream come true 😭 Ugh I wish I could be into male POV’s more, I definitely think I need to start giving them more of a chance haha!
