WWW Wednesday

Hello bookish friends!

I just stumbled across this WWW Wednesday idea and I think it’s a super cute way do a little weekly catch up.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World Of Words, the rules are simple you just have to answer these three questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Let’s do this!

What am I currently reading?

Currently I’m in the middle of four books (I know I’m the worst 😔) but I’m actually really liking all of them so far! I’m very much a mood reader so this is why I ALWAYS get stuck reading multiple books at once.

Here’s a little rundown of why I’m reading these:

  • Wrong in all the Right Ways – forbidden love & a reimagining of Wuthering Heights? SIGN ME UP
  • Scream All Night – facing demons and returning to your past is the kind of torture I live for
  • A Reaper at the Gates – MY QUEEN HELENE RETURNS (pray for me as I finish this)
  • Darkness Before Dawn – sometimes you just need a good ol’ vampire chick flick (except, you know in book format)

What have I recently finished reading?

Previously, on The Bookish Chick’s Blog (queue Nina Dobrev voice from TVD), I reviewed Legendary and Hunting Prince Dracula. You can check out my reviews here:

Legendary review
Hunting Prince Dracula review

I didn’t write a full review on The Sun and Her Flowers because I only rated it two stars but you can check out my thoughts HERE.

What do I think I’ll read next?

Any Hocus Pocus fans out there?! Because yes, THIS IS A THING!!!! And it’s coming out July 10th!

I’ve also been dying to start Scythe, so if you’ve read this I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on it!  😉

Until next time!

  1. Okay, first of all I’m jealous that you’re reading Reaper at the Gates. Second, I’m dying laughing at you TVD reference (I’m obsessed with Nina Dobrev). Third, YAAAAAS for you reading Sycthe next. It’s so great – can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it.

    1. HAHAHA I was hoping someone would get it!! I knew I could count on my twinny 💕 Pls don’t be jealous I’m literally terrified to pick it up and finish it after I read the first 100 pages, it’s so intense!

  2. I love this idea! Also, if you haven’t got a copy of Scythe yet, I somehow got it for free on Kindle last night! Not sure if it’s a glitch or just a good promo but worth knowing ❤️

    1. You should definitely give it a go, it’s such a fun post to do. Ahhhh omg that’s amazing! I’m so jealous, thanks for the heads up 💕

    1. Doesn’t it?! I still haven’t started it yet but hopefully in the next few days I will! I just found out not too long ago that the Hocus Pocus sequel was a thing but sadly it’s not living up the hype. I mean I don’t think any sequel would ever top the movie but we’ll see!
