ABC Book Challenge – D

Happy Sunday bookish friends!

Previously on The Bookish Chick’s blog, we talked about memorable reads and books that are sitting on my TBR that begin with the letter C. I may or may not have been super indecisive about which books to pick and just ended up talking about a whole lot of books. If you missed that post you can check it out HERE.

Will I do better this week?
Let’s find out!

Most Memorable Reads

  • I read A Discovery of Witches back in 2014 and even though it took me about four months to read this bad boy I really enjoyed it. Since then I have read the second book (it’s a trilogy), but I still haven’t had a chance to pick up book three. It’s one of those books that requires my full concentration so hopefully I can finish this trilogy soon. Also, this is being turned into a series on Lifetime!
  • The Darkest Part of the Forest by none other than the queen of faeries herself was a no brainer for this. I wrote a super tiny review for this back in 2015 when I was a young-in on Goodreads and you can check it out HERE. FUN FACT: Characters from this story make appearances in The Cruel Prince. But please don’t ask me what their names are because I have a horrible memory and can’t remember but THEY ARE IN THERE!

Books Still on my TBR

  • The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein is my #1 most anticipated read for the rest of this year. It actually hurts my soul that this book does not come out until September. Yes, I realize it’s not that far away, but let me be dramatic and cry about how I can’t possibly spend one more day without this book. Because I really can’t.
  • Dreamology has been sitting pretty on my TBR for almost two years now, and I say pretty because just look at it. I’m low-key obsessed with the cover. I bought the book two months ago so now it’s really sitting pretty on my TBR and bookshelf, so yeah, I really need to read it.

Thats all for this week!

Until next time,
