Happy Sunday bookworms!
Previously on The Bookish Chick’s blog (clearly I’m not letting this TVD reference go), I gave you guys some of my most memorable reads and books still sitting on my TBR with the letter D. This week we’re moving on to the letter E, and surprisingly there are WAY more books on my shelves that start with and E than I thought.
If you missed my post last week you can check it out HERE.
Otherwise, let’s dive in!
Most Memorable Reads
- The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa is book 2 in the Blood of Eden trilogy. This trilogy goes down as one of my favorite vampire/dystopian stories and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes either of the two.
- An Ember in the Ashes was a no brainer for this list. Even though I’ve never really cared for the MC Laia, I loved the supporting characters in this. Luckily, those supporting characters turned out to have major parts in the second and third book and I am still in a major book hangover from Reaper. Thanks, Sabaa.
- Empire of Storms was also another no brainer. I mean the cliffhanger this book left us on is unreal, and cruel, but mainly UNREAL. Kingdom of Ash better have a happy ending because my heart will not be able to handle anything less.
Books still on my TBR
- I am officially aboard the Thomas Cresswell train. It took me a little while to get there, but I made it and now I cannot wait for Audrey Rose and Thomas Cresswell’s story to continue in Escaping from Houdini.
- Evermore is another highly anticipated read for me since I loved Everless. I need more of Jules and Liam, I LOVED THEM. Plus I look forward to getting slapped in the face with more plot twists, thats always a good time.
Thanks all for this week!
Until next time,
This made me think of that song that’s in the beginning of The Parent Trap movie… e…. extraordinary….I can’t remember the rest of that song right now. 😀
