ABC Book Challenge – F

Hello bookish friends!

Previously on The Bookish Chick’s Blog, and when I say previously I mean a really long time ago, I shared you with my most memorable reads and books still sitting on my TBR that began with the letter “e”. If you missed it you can check it out HERE.

This week we’re diving back into the tag and picking up with the letter “f”.

Let’s do this!

Most Memorable Reads

  • Far From You  was one of the first books I can recall ever reading that included LGBT+ rep and I absolutely LOVED it. It’s a story about love, loss, friendship, and addiction all wrapped in one super suspenseful murder mystery story. I wrote a small review on Goodreads before I even started blogging, you can check it out HERE.
  • The Forever Song is the final installment of the Blood of Eden trilogy. I’ve talked about this trilogy plenty of times on my blog before because it’s one of my favorite vampire/dystopian stories. I read this back in 2014 and still gush about it all the time, hopefully one day I can get around to doing a reread!

Books still on my TBR

  • First We Were IV has been sitting on my TBR and my bookshelf FOREVER! I was able to snag a copy of this book for about $3.00 from Book Outlet so now I just need to get around to picking it up. Y’all know I love me a good mystery/thriller novel. You can check out the synopsis HERE.
  • Okay, I know I’m SUPER late to the Fallen Kingdoms party, I’m sorry. But at least I have it on my TBR, right? That has to count for something! I never really planned on this one sitting on my TBR for so long, but I was in a major fantasy book slump so I took the summer off. Now I’m starting to get an itch for some fantasy reads, who knows maybe this will be one of the ones I end up picking up to end the slump!

That’s all for this week!

Until next time,

  1. Oh you are like me if pretty covers decide buying the book 🙂 btw I am a big time fantasy buff too and the second book seems up my alley – marked it for a read.

I will check out other reviews as these books have intrigued me and I am always on the lookout for a good fantasy read.
