Blogtober – September Wrap Up

Hello bookish friends! 🧛🏻‍♂️ 🎃 ✨

September was actually a pretty solid reading month for me. I read seven books, which for me is pretty damn good because I have the attention span of a walnut. Also, I’ve been super busy with renovating the new house so it wasn’t an easy month to just be able to sit down and read. Yay me!

This is just going to be a quick post to show you guys all seven books I read since I still haven’t reviewed all of them. But I’m working on it I promise. Out of all seven books, two were e-ARC’s I received from publishers. My lowest rating was 3 stars, which is pretty shocking since we love a good roast over here, but I think I picked a pretty good batch of books for the month of September!

    1. You should still be excited! It wasn’t a bad book, I just figured out the killer early on so I was slightly bummed. But I read a lot of really great books in September. It was a 3 star read for me which isn’t bad at all!

  1. Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve read a Lauren Oliver book, and I’m not sure if I want to. I mean, I read Before I Fall from way back when, and I loved it, but then I read Delirium, and while I enjoyed it, it wasn’t enough for me to pick up the sequel. So, yeah, I felt like I’ve outgrown her books. But I might give Broken Little Things a try. We’ll see. 😃

    1. This was my Lauren Oliver book, and it wasn’t terrible but I was just really bummed over the ending and lack of explanation it provided. 😔 If you decide to pick it up I would love to hear what you think of it, I’ve seen a lot of really great reviews about it!
