Blogtober – Book Challenge – K

Hello bookish friends! 🎃 ✨

Previously on The Bookish Chick’s blog, we talked about some of my most memorable reads and books still sitting on my TBR with the letter I. This week we’re moving on to the letter K. I swear I didn’t forget the letter J, somehow I just have no books on my TBR that begin with the letter J?! I haven’t read many books with the letter J either, none that I feel worthy of dedicating an entire post to, so a skip is in order!

If you missed my post last week you can check it out HERE.
You can add me on Goodreads HERE.

Let’s dive in!

Most Memorable Reads

  • The Kite Runner was a book that I had to read in high school. Back in the day I dreaded reading books assigned to us at school because they were always so boring, however, this book blew me away. This is one of the most powerful, heart breaking, and incredible books I’ve ever read. I still remember sitting in my 11th grade English class trying not to cry while reading this but being so blown away by how much I loved the characters. I would love to reread this one day.

  • If Leigh Bardugo writes it, The Bookish Chick reads it. Simple as that. I’m still fan-girling over the fact that not only are we getting a story about the one and only Nikolai Lantsov, but also my QUEEN Nina Zenik will make an appearance too. I can’t wait!
  • Also, I am so excited for Kill Switch by Peneople Douglas, which is book three in the Hideaway series. This series isn’t for everyone since it is a dark romance, but somehow I really enjoyed it and cannot wait for the most TWISTED character’s POV I’ve ever come across. Even though there is still no cover yet I keep checking Goodreads just about every other day to see if a release date has been added. Here’s to hoping the wait is almost over.

That’s all for today!

Until next time,
