Book Challenge – L

Previously on The Bookish Chick’s blog, we talked about some of my most memorable reads and books still sitting on my TBR with the letter K. This week we’re moving on to the letter L, which if you know me you already know my most memorable “L” read! 😉

Let’s dive in!

Most Memorable Reads

*insert ugly cry here*

In case you don’t know, Looking for Alaska is my favorite book in the world. It’s my favorite book that has ever been published and will stay that way for the rest of my life. Yes, I’m that confident about it. I’ve been working on a writing a review for this book for the last four years, but every time I try to write it I feel like it never conveys how much this book means to me. This book in a roundabout way saved my life. I was dealing with a very similar situation to the MC of this book, and I will always be eternally grateful to John Green for writing this book and having found this book when I needed it the most.

Books still on my TBR

Lady Midnight  has been sitting pretty on my TBR for quite some time as I try and catch up with the Shadowhunter world. I’ve read The Mortal Instruments as well as Clockwork Angel but I would still like to finish the rest of the The Infernal Devices before starting The Dark Artificies. Try saying that three times fast. I didn’t particularly care too much for TMI but I absolutely LOVED Emma and Julian once they came into the books later into the series, so I can’t wait to see where this story goes. And from the reviews I’ve read it sounds pretty painful 🙃.

That’s all for today!

Until next time,

    1. Maybe try The Infernal Devices if you haven’t? I wasn’t smitten by The Mortal Instruments but TID really made me be glad to jump back into the Shadowhunter world!
