WWW Wednesday

Hello, bookish friends! 🍁 🍂

Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday! In case you missed any of my other WWW Wednesday posts, here is the idea behind the tag:

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World Of Words, the rules are simple you just have to answer these three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Let’s dive in!

What am I currently reading?

  • Amanda over at ClassyxBookReviews and I are buddy reading Hope and Other Punchlines. This centers around 9/11 and life after and coincidentally we decided to pick this up with the 18th anniversary being today. We’re both really enjoying this so far but bracing our hearts for the possibility of being crushed. Either way it’s definitely worthy of being added to your TBR.
  • Shadow Frost is an ARC that I received from the publisher. I’m not too far into it but oooof the formatting of this e-ARC is atrocious and I’m trying not to let it ruin my reading experience.

What did I recently finish reading?

  • I DEVOURED this one. The Grace Year so freaking good and I’m on the fence between 5 or 4.5 stars for this one. Apparently this a is mash-up of The Handmaid’s Tale and Lord of the Flies, neither of which I’ve read yet but this did remind me of a movie I watched years ago called The Village. Nevertheless, I loved my time with this book and it’s definitely going to be on my favorites of 2019 list!

What will I read next?

  • Trust me, you’re just as surprised as I am. Sometimes I’ll go out on a limb and request ARC’s (okay, maybe even beg for them) that I’m extremely excited for. However, I knew that I had no shot getting an ARC of Ninth House because of how limited they are. So, imagine my surprise when this showed up in my mailbox. I damn near fainted on my front steps. Somehow someone thought I was worthy of this and I am shook, flattered, and ready to dive into this bad boy!

Until next time,
