Hello, bookish friends! 🍂
We are just ONE DAY away from my favorite month of the year! Before we dive in to today’s post I wanted to talk about the two things I have planned for October:
- I’m participating (or at least planning on) in Blogtober, which means you’ll be seeing me on here everyday. I have lots of book reviews, spooky recs, halloween-themed posts planned and I’m so excited!
- The Bookeyman-A-Thon starts tomorrow! It’s a month long read-a-thon that Steph (Books in the Skye) and I created since we love October and Halloween so damn much. So, today I’m going to be sharing with you guys my TBR for the Bookeyman-A-Thon! I even made sure all my choices are perfect for the spooky season approaching 😉
If you wanted to still sign up you can do so HERE!!
Bookeyman-A-Thon TBR
You can find me with all the other witches on Team Coven!
Group Book
What better way to kick off Halloween than with the king of horror himself? Misery was a no brainer for us to choose!
Team Book
I’ve already read The Wicked Deep so we’re going with the back up! I vaguely remember watching this movie years ago but I haven’t read Practical Magic. Give me all the witches, please!
Find Your Familiar
A book with an animal on the cover
Here kitty, kitty!
I have been DYING to pick Tunnel of Bones up since it was released, but I’ve been saving it for this exact moment. Now that October is almost here this is probably the first book I’ll dive into!
Your Coven Has Become Your Family
A book that concentrates on family
A family-driven MC, corpses that won’t stay dead, a remote mountain setting, strong sibling relationships…what more can a girl need? Plus, it’s a standalone novel.
Yes, please!
Trust Your Coven
Have a friend pick your read
I am SO EXCITED for all the 90’s nostalgia vibes! I’ve seen a few mixed reviews on this book but I can’t wait to give this one a shot since I love all things paranormal and 90’s. Hopefully this will live up to my expectations.
Witch’s Brew
Drink a fall inspired drink while reading
I received an e-ARC of this and hello beautiful Halloween-vibes on the cover! For the cover alone it’s definitely worthy of reading this with a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew from Starbucks in hand.
That’s all for today!
Until next time,
Woo! Happy Reading during your Bookeyman-A-Thon! I’m taking part in blogtover too.

What a great TBR! I remember trying and failing to read Misery when I was a teenager; pretty sure that was the book where I decided Stephen King’s writing style wasn’t for me lol. We’ve been talking about Babysitter’s Coven on Twitter… I really hope you like it more than me & that the worst thing is just the annoying chatspeak.
I’m reading The Bone Houses right now and am enjoying it, though!

I have yet to read a Stephen King book, I’m currently testing out The Institute right now. Good to know about The Bones Houses because I just picked up my copy!
