Hello, witches! 🎃 👻 ✨
I’ve been having a ton of fun participating in Blogtober and I’ve been trying to figure out ways that I can continue to be more present on my blog once the month is up. That’s how I dreamed up Monday Madness while laying in bed one night unable to fall asleep. I LOVE doing tags like WWW Wednesday and Top Ten Tuesday so I wanted to figure out another type of post I could do similar to those where it’s not the cut and dry review talk about books. Plus, I love talking about goals and holding myself accountable!
The idea of Monday Madness is to set up goals for the fresh, new craziness of another week. In each post I’ll talk about my reading goals, personal ones, and talk about books that are releasing this week that I’m excited about! It’s pretty simple but hopefully by the end of the week I’ll have crushed all the goals I set for myself.
Let’s dive in!
Weekly Reading Goals
Finish The Institute and The Babysitter’s Coven.
I feel like I’ve been reading The Institute for awhile since other books seem to be getting in the way, so it’s about time I finally buckle down and finish this 500+ page bad boy. Once I finish The Babysitter’s Coven I can cross off my first reading challenge for the Bookeyman-A-Thon.
New Releases This Week I’m Excited About
That I’ll get to at some point in my life 😉
Not only will I basically read anything written by Holly Black but a book about Maleficent, my favorite Disney villain?! Released in October?! HELL YEAH. Plus, a book release in October about vampires is a double hell yeah. The Beautiful has been sitting on my TBR since the day I found out vampires were making a comeback in 2019 and I am LIVING for it. Give me all things vampires and I’m first in line to buy it.
Personal Goals for the Week
-Cycle 30 miles this week
-Continue my October workout challenge which consists of 30 days of Peloton workouts
-Finally get to the yard work that needs to be done since it’s not 100 degrees out anymore
-I desperately need to take out and go through my fall/winter clothes now that the temperatures are dropping
And that my friends, is the plan for the week! Let’s see how well I do with it!
If you enjoyed this feel free to do it on your blog as well!
