Happy Friday, witches! 🔮 🌕 ✨
I saw this book tag over on Robin’s blog (Paperback and Planners) and just had to do it! I did the original tag many moons ago when The Bookish Chick was just a tiny little baby blog, so I figured this would be fun to do again…only it’s spooky this time!
Let’s dive in!
Spooky Would You Rather Book Tag
1. Thriller or Supernatural?
Give me all things supernatural and paranormal PLEASE! Thrillers are still a good time, don’t get me wrong but I will always have a love for anything otherworldly.
2. Ghosts or Zombies?
Normally, I love blood and guts but maaaaybe not to the extreme of a rotting, flesh eating zombie, so we’re going with ghosts. Hopefully nice ones.
3. Vampires or Werewolves?
Is this even a question?
Vampires, all day everyday.
4. Witches or Demons?
All the witchy feels, pls and thanks. Even though my friends and family might tell you they think I’m part demon 🙃
5. Would you rather read a book with 13 chapters, or a book with a black cat on the cover?
We got no time for superstitions over here! I’m going to pick a book with a black cat on the cover because if I picked 13 chapters that would mean that book has some loooooong AF chapters and I’m not a fan of that.
P.S.- my favorite number is 13 though!
6. Would you rather read a spooky book in the dark with only a candle for light, or by yourself in a locked brightly lit room?
Spooky book in the dark to set the mood and hopefully scare me even more. I don’t think I could ever do a bright room just for the massive migraine I’d get afterwards.
7. Would you rather face your worst fears, or be trapped in the mind of a killer?
OOOOH this is hard but I think I’m going to go with being trapped in the mind of a killer. Facing my worst fears would mean I would have to face my insane case of arachnophobia and honestly, murder doesn’t sound too bad at that point. 😰
8. Would you rather watch a scary movie or read a scary book?
A scary book for sure. I’m not necessarily the biggest fan of scary movies to begin with. I’ve had my fair share of watching the Halloween movies too young and having to sleep with my lamp on for a week straight. So, I’ll take the scary books instead.
9. Would you rather read spooky books during the fall time or all year?
Definitely fall! I don’t read spooky books too often so when the air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and it gets dark out earlier and earlier everyday just makes it even better. I’ll still read mystery/thrillers throughout the rest of the year but I try to save the truly spooky books for October.
10. Would you rather read 10 spooky books in October or 10 spooky books all year?
10 spooky books in October!! I think my answer above says it all haha!
That’s all for today!
