WWW Wednesday

Hello, bookish friends!

Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday! In case you missed any of my other WWW Wednesday posts, here is the idea behind the tag:

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World Of Words, the rules are simple you just have to answer these three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Let’s dive in!

What am I currently reading?

I was immediately intrigued by the blurb of Catherine House and felt like it’s probably the closest thing I’ve seen to Ninth House since finishing that book last year. If you know me, you know I looooooved Ninth House and have been on the hunt for anything that remotely even resembles it. So far I will say this is a very weird but intriguing story and I’m not 100% sure where it’s going but I’m here for the ride while it lasts.

I also just recently started:

Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer

Lobizona was so good! Even though this falls within the fantasy genre it definitely felt like more of a contemporary with magical realism and I was living for every second of it. It tackles dual worlds, heartbreaking yet relevant topics going on in our world, has LGBT rep, and is inspired largely by Argentinian culture and folklore – there’s seriously so much to love.

You can find my full review for Lobizona HERE!

I am slowly but surely making the switch to my autumn/spooky reads for the season and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Dark Witch is one of the books that I have on my TBR for this fall and I currently have it taken out from my library to make sure that I actually do pick it up in time. I’ve never read anything from Nora Roberts before but I’ve heard lots of good things so I’m excited to dive into this one…and I mean witches, come on!

Until next time,
