Hello, friends! 🍂✨
I can’t believe September is almost here! Where has the time gone?!
If you know me you know that autumn is my favorite time of year and as far as I’m concerned once September 1st hits it’s officially fall in my book. So, since I’ll probably be busy dragging all of my fall/Halloween decorations out for the next two days I figured I’d leave you with some of the books I’ve been eyeing up that are releasing in the month of September.
Let’s dive in!
September Releases I’m Excited For
A new series from Adrienne Young, yes please?! After reading and absolutely loving Sky in the Deep she quickly became an auto-buy author for me. I haven’t read too many books that involve pirates but the few that I have have all worked super well for me so I’m excited to pick this up.
I have heard so many amazing things about Cemetery Boys! It has Latinx representation, LGBT+ rep w/ a transgender MC, romance, magic, and so much more. Majority of my friends that have picked this up have devoured it one sitting and I can’t wait to get my hands on this debut and see what it’s all about.
Kingdom of Flesh and Fire (Blood and Ash #2)
So here’s the thing….technically I have not read the first book yet but I’m still extremely excited for this one. Jennifer Armentrout and vampires is a combination that I am 100% here for. However, the last thing I wanted was to read one of her books and have it end on a cliffhanger so I did the responsible thing and waited until the next one comes out before picking these up.
Horrid is at they very top of my Halloween TBR and I can’t wait to dive into this. It sounds like it’s going to be a super atmospheric read for autumn mixed with horror/mystery elements and tackling topics like mental illness and grief – which are all up my alley when it comes to things I love in a book.
Even If We Break
This is another one that’s high up on my Halloween TBR. Five friends, a cabin in the woods, four of them have secrets, and one of them wants to end it. What could possibly go wrong? I don’t know but I’m definitely interested to find out.
A Deadly Education (Scholomance #1)
I’m pretty sure out of all the releases in the month of September this is the one I’m most excited for. Anything that has to do with a school for the magically gifted has me sold and when the stakes are so high that your only two options are graduate or die I’m all in. Add in the MC having dark powers herself and I need this IMMEDIATELY. Wake me up on the 29th please!
What new releases are you looking forward to picking up this month?
Until next time,
